Wale Service Announcement
Wale's debut album "Attention: Deficit" drops tomorrow. I found out about Wale from NT. After all, dude is an NTer just like yours truely. I was a big fan at first, but then things kinda just died down. A Mixtape About Nothing was really good though. And I've heard that this album is pretty solid. I'll give it a listen. Might pick up a copy. Who knows...? Here's his song with John Mayer. I like it a lot. Enjoy!
Red Carpet Romance
I need these LeBron's in my life. D:Oh, and you're a damn fool if you thought that 'Bron wears the Hypermax's hahaha the fuck outta here.

Cooler
This weekend has just been all over the place. Started off on a good note with Friday. Just chilled all day with the homies. I cruised over to Dube's house just listening to Dom Kennedy's 25th Hour. Shit seemed perfect. Grabbed some Donahoo's fried chicken with Dube, Kraig, Ameen, Mel, Mika and Kevin. Best fried chicken out there, I swear. Then we just hung out at Dube/Kevin's house and played some Street Fighter IV and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I'm not too good at either, so don't throw some challenges at me haha. Actually, if you wanna play against me in some SFIV or some third stroke, I'm up for the challenge. Always fun. We caught the Fourth Kind, and in the end, a lot of the homies were shook. Just straight up scared. IMO, it wasn't as scary as Paranormal Activity. It kinda gets you thinking, but there were too many questionable moments. All of us grabbed some coldstones and then headed back to the house to watch Grandma's Boy. Shit is funny.
The morning after, we hit up Shadow Oak park to play ball. It was my first time playing in a while. I was suuuuuper rusty at first. But after getting my legs back under me, shit started to fall again. I think my jumper is back. A few more runs at the park will decide whether or not this is true. Only time will tell...

I Sit and Wish...
"I was a kid again..."
The chorus to this song has been my ringtone on and off for the last few years. Good song. I don't listen to it often, but when I do, it makes me sit and look back at everything. I'm feeling old. As I should. Life is picking up right about now. Things are gonna start moving fast. But I'm up for the challenge. Oh, by the way, I think I got hired by GNC. 'Bout damn time.

You Are the Reason
Damn. On to the next one.
Really wish you would have had the decency to say something though. Guess we can't win 'em all.

Take Em Out the Hood...

Rosa Acosta's face is kinda bunz.... But that carpet is dope though! Hahaha
She's lucky NT made her famous. Cot damn. Too bad she doesn't give us any damn recognition. Now she's doing ad campaigns with Supreme?! Pshhhhh please.
A Few of My Favorite Things...
KANYE WEST "Glow in the Dark" book promo by: NABIL from nabil elderkin on Vimeo.
I absolutely NEEEEEEEED the Glow in the Dark Tour photo book. I miss the glow in the dark tour. That was one crazy night. I mean, I can't join the bandwagon and hate Kanye for Taylor Swift related reasons, because although dude may be a jerk sometimes (a lot of times?), he is still an AMAZING performer and incredible musician. And you gotta love that.
Not gonna lie, I chuckled at 2:40.
Jay and the Beans Talk from jeff on Vimeo.
I'm very intrigued by this Beanie Sigel vs. Jay Z thing... Although I highly doubt Jay will even say anything.
Friday was BANANAS. This Shannon Brown dunk was too nasty. (Rachel: this might be the dunk your boyfriend was screaming about if it was on Friday D:)
All the guys in the room: OHHHH SHIIIIIT! Mel did you see that?!
Mel: No, I was watching Taylor Swift get punk'd.
Me: Mannnn get that shit outta here!

Just Keep On Pressin On

A few of the homies and I joined a fantasty basketball league, and its been pretty fun so far. It's my first time doing this stuff so I'm still tryna figure things out. We all got together at Kraig's house on Friday and had our draft. It was a good night. We handled the business then all watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre and ate some pizza. Can't be mad at that. I wasn't able to pick my players because I was busy helping my Lolo pack his stuff before he went off the to Philippines. I may not have been able to hand select exactly who I wanted, BUT with the Auto Pick, I was able to pick up Kevin Durant. And, I'm not gonna lie, I was planning on picking him up anyways. Lets hope he can pull through. I mean, why wouldn't he? Those new Nike Zoom KD1 PE's are SIIIICK! The black to blue fade is bananas.
I find it funny how none of us use the Thai Tea Theory blog anymore. But at the same time, all of us, with the exception of Josh, have our own blogs. Its kinda sad that we left it behind like that. But hey, I guess we all gotta part ways at one point or another.

I'm Getting Spins in LA
So the NBA season started today. Caught the games at Justin's house. The Lake Show picked up the win, of course. Been an eventful day. I ran some errands most of the day. Not much to write about at the moment, except for the fact that the Hold On remix by Dwele and Kanye has been stuck in my head all day.On Fire
Really though. Does dude really think he's doing it? I couldnt stop laughing hahahaha. Making videos using his mac cam and shit >_>

Flyer
WHAT?! Looks like a complete flywire upper. Super sleek. Maybe some CF print? Shiiiiiet. More of a follow up to the Hyperdunk than the Hyperizes are. O_oDemon Daze

Saturday was wild. A few of the homies and I checked out Paranormal Activity. And, IMO, it was pretty scary. You're gonna hear a lot of people say it was wack, or it wasn't even scary. But, I think its because most people are going in, expecting to be scared shitless by your usual scare tactics. And, it really doesn't do that. It uses suspense and crazy camera angles to do its job. What I think really makes this movie great, is that it relys on your imagination. I mean, you don't really know what the ghost is up to. You don't know what it looks like, and you don't know its motivs. So, it's really up to your imaginaiton to decide on how scary this movie is. If your imagination is wild, then it gets that much scarier. I liked that about the movie. If you really didn't find it that scary, maybe you're just not that creative. (Sorry Deron Williams -__- hahah) I'm not gonna ruin it for anybody, so all I'm gonna say is that it was a good movie. Maybe not what you were expecting, but a good movie none the less. Go in with an open mind. If you're going in with the high expectations because of all the hype, then you're bound to be let down.
Oh, and all the little mysteries about the movie get you going too. I think they did a really good job with it. I mean, even if you didn't like it, you'll still be talking about it for the next few days. No doubt.
